As part of the construction of an addition to the elementary and middle school, Moyle was responsible for the construction of a 10 foot wide by 160 foot long, 3 span skywalk. The skywalk serves as an enclosed, heated connection between the new building and the existing high school.
Moyle Construction was the general contractor for the general renovations at the Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementary and High Schools. New windows were installed in the old high school along with new wood window sills and trim. All the interior doors were upgraded from the original wood doors to metal frames and solid core wood doors. The auditorium was rewired for new lighting and the old glass block windows removed and new aluminum windows installed. The old metal seats and original wood desks were removed, the floor resanded and sealed, and new, modern seating installed. In the gymnasium, the perimeter balcony was removed on two sides and one side enlarged and replaced. A new tongue and groove wood floor was installed on the new balcony and the entire balcony and wood gym floor was resanded, painted, and sealed. New backboards, bleachers, and athletic equipment were installed. The heating system throughout the entire building was upgraded to a modern, more efficient system.
